Hi there. This is out-dated to say the least, but I just wanted to again say a big thanks for our recent rafting experience. We all had a ball and I'm sure none of us will ever forget how much fun and excitement we had. We experienced almost everything the guide talked about on the bus on the way up to the drop off site. It really is worth one's benefit to pay attention to his pre-rafting rules, and safety tips. You probably have fogotten us but we were on our register as the "Buck Jone Vacation Trip." There were 15 of us, but we picked up that big guy from Nebraska that had been thrown out of his raft. Anyway, thanks again! You guys were terrific.

Just wanted to thank you for the rafting experience I had Friday. Though conditions were poor, I'm sore and sunburned, my companions and I had a great time. Our guide, Heather, was fantastic for putting up with a crew who is more familiar with highballs than highsides. A failed rescue "rescue" attempt that left Heather diving into the water was pure comedy. She may not tell the story, but I've told it a dozen times already. You're lucky to have her on your staff. I had my first exerience with rafting last Monday, 6/10 and haven't been able to stop talking about it all week. I know you hear this all the time but you are the best! You may remember my group; my brother, Joel, talked your ear off from his seat in front of you in the raft; my sister, Janice became a swimmer and you so graciously rescued her and I was up front not doing a very good job of rowing but having the time of my life. With us in the raft were the 3 from Iowa. We wanted to inform you of the great experience that we had on the Poudre Splash raft trip. Our family of 4 with children ages 9 and 11 were accompanied on the trip by guide, Mia. It was one of the highlights of our trips. The scenery was beautiful and we saw a mountain sheep on the top of a hill. We were good naturally joked by Mia, being current and former canoeists. She made our children feel comfortable, even after one of the rafts in front of us had all occupants end up in the water. Our youngest, Kirsten she mad honorary CO-captain teasing her that she was in charge if she had to leave the raft. Our oldest, Julie was cold and Mia provided her own clothes for the girls to wear for the remainder of the trip. Thanks for the good time. We will recommend your business to others.

I was one of a group of 7 people who made a rafting trip through your company on Monday, July 7th. I was with the Becker group. Five of our group had never done this before and the other two had rafted both on the Poudre and the Arkansas. Having never done this before, I have nothing to compare it with, however one of the members of our group said this was the best trip he had ever made. We all discussed our trip the rest of that evening and the next morning before our group left Fort Collins. We all had a wonderful trip and it was interesting that many of us felt that one of the reasons we had such a good trip was due to the wonderful guide we had- Claude. In fact, Jim Becker is the member who had floated both rivers, and he also felt that one of the reasons this was such a good trip was due to our guide's leadership. We all had nothing but praise for our guide. We had a wonderful trip and hope that you will pass this on to Claude and let him know our appreciation. The John Coughlin Family

On July 16, 2001 our family took a rafting trip with your company. We were the Coughlin group, and we are sure you remember us! We had 3 rafts and our guides were Eddie, Evan and Chris. We were in Chris's raft and we really did have a good time. We were amazed at the work Chris did to get us down that 12 miles of river, and very impressed by the way he kept his composure in the circumstances that he was put in and had no control over. The 3 of us appreciated the skills of our guide, and hope the attitude of one of our passengers was not taked personally by Chris. In talking with the groups that were in Eddie's and Evan's rafts, a good time was had by all that were from our group on those rafts. The trip down the Poudre was truly a memorable experience and the John Coughlin family of Huron has decided it was the highlight of our Colorado trip. While our family vacationed at a guest ranch in Loveland, the ranch scheduled a WW trip on the Poudre for 33 of us. We hopped the bus and endured the long bus ride to MWD's competitor/neighbor. Then we hopped the bus and hopped off again three times (their guides couldn't count the correct number of folks on the bus) and finally headed to the river. We paddled some nancy-boy II and III and then TOOK OUT above the IV water. We wound up spending more time on the bus then on the water! Two days later my wife and I sneaked out of the ranch and went with a brother & his wife on the Poudre but, this time, we went with MWD. Your outfit is top-notch. I've paddled the Upper Gauley in WV and the professionalism and quality of guides that MWD has surpasses that great V+ river! Jed was our guide and his commentary and skill made our trip well worth the drive from the whitewater mecca of Kansas. I'm recommending the ranch transfer their referral business to MWD.
