Whitewater Rafting Guide

Mountain Whitewater Descents is proud to have the best guides on the Cache la Poudre River. Our motto at Mountain Whitewater Descents is, “Our Guides Make the Difference.” In order to make sure that all of our guides make the difference, Mountain Whitewater Descents holds guides to a very high training standard and encourages all guides to have medical and whitewater training that far surpasses state requirements. All guides at MWD have at least double the training hours required by the state of Colorado and are required to be Swiftwater Rescue Technicians by their second year. MWD employs guides who love what they do, work hard and genuinely care about making a positive difference in their rafting trips. If you don’t have whitewater guiding experience, MWD conducts raft guide-training classes in the spring for aspiring raft guides.
